LastEdit / Legal

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what MOONDOJO LLC, 30 N Gould Street, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA (“LastEdit”, “we”, “us”), the seller of LastEdit and the controller of your personal data, collects when you visit lastedit.io or buy the product, why, and your choices. Contact: help@lastedit.io.

1. What we collect

  • Purchase data, sent to us by our payment provider after you buy: your name, email address, country, order ID, amount and currency. We never receive your card details.
  • License and download data: your license key and, each time you download your copy, the date, IP address, approximate location (country and city) and browser user agent. Each copy is uniquely marked with your license so it can be traced if it is shared without permission.
  • Visit and attribution data: IP address, browser user agent, the page you came from, ad campaign parameters (utm_*, fbclid) and Meta advertising cookies (_fbp, _fbc).
  • On-site activity, tied to a random visitor ID stored in your browser (the le_vid cookie and local storage): the pages and sections you viewed, how much of the sales video you watched, and whether you started a checkout. We keep the country and city derived from your IP address, not the address itself.
  • Agency applications: the name, email, agency, website, volume and message you send us through the Agency form.
  • Messages you send us by email.

We do not receive your footage or the videos you make: the product runs in your own environment.

2. Why we use it, and on what basis

  • To deliver the product, give you access to your account and support you (performance of our contract).
  • To keep accounting and tax records (legal obligation).
  • To prevent fraud, chargeback abuse and unauthorized sharing or resale of the product (our legitimate interest in protecting our business).
  • To measure which ads lead to purchases and improve our advertising (consent or legitimate interest, depending on where you live).
  • To reply to your Agency application and prepare a quote (steps at your request before a contract).

We do not sell your personal information for money.

3. Meta Pixel and Conversions API

This site uses the Meta Pixel, which sets cookies and sends page views and purchase events to Meta Platforms. When you buy, our server also sends the purchase to Meta through the Conversions API, with your email address and country hashed (SHA-256) before they leave our server, along with your IP address, user agent and Meta cookie values. Meta uses this to attribute purchases to ads and may use it to improve ad delivery, under its own data policy. You can control ad personalization in your Meta account and opt out of interest-based advertising at optout.aboutads.info. Sharing data with Meta may count as “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under some US state laws; you can opt out by emailing us.

4. Cookies

We use the cookies the Meta Pixel sets (_fbp, _fbc and Meta’s own cookies), one first-party analytics cookie (le_vid, a random visitor ID kept up to 400 days), the cookies our payment provider needs during checkout, and one sign-in cookie (le_session) when you sign in to your account. The Meta Pixel also receives events about how far you watched the sales video and whether you saw the offer, so we can show relevant ads to people who visited. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the site and checkout still work.

5. Who processes your data

  • Creem: merchant of record for payment, tax and receipts.
  • Supabase: database and file storage for orders, licenses, download logs and your copy of the product (United States).
  • Resend: delivery and sign-in emails.
  • Vercel: hosting of this website.
  • Meta Platforms: advertising measurement (see section 3).

These providers process data on our instructions or under their own terms for payment and advertising. Data is stored and processed in the United States. Where the law requires it, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Security

Access to our database is restricted to our server; download links are signed and expire; sign-in uses one-time email links. No method is perfectly secure, and we will notify you of a breach where the law requires it.

7. Retention

We keep order records as long as required for tax and accounting (generally up to 7 years), license and download records for as long as your license exists and any claim about it can be brought, checkout attribution and on-site activity for up to 24 months, and Agency applications for up to 24 months after our last exchange.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, California and other US states), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict its use, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of targeted advertising. Email help@lastedit.io; we answer within 30 days and will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. We may keep the data we need to prove a purchase, protect the product against unauthorized sharing, or meet legal obligations.

9. Children

This site and product are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes

We will post any change here with a new date.
